Family Visits

Family Visit Breakdown:
What to expect at our short family visit...
A family or home visit is a short allotment of time (usually 15 minutes) where the Pre-Kindergarten team (classroom teacher, educational assistant and/or student support teacher) visit your child in a situation that they are most comfortable in. It enables the child to become familiar with their classroom teacher and the teacher to see your child’s behaviour within their home environment. It enables the teacher to assess the child and to create better plans for needs that the child may have. This short fifteen minute visit gives us the valuable opportunity to meet with your child one-on-one and to know them on an individual basis.
