Apple Prints and Name Apples

We looked at real apples and realized that they can be different sizes; small, medium and big.
They also come in different colors. Yellow, red, green and some apples even had two different colors on them.
We cut an apple in half and looked at the seeds that are inside of it. A seed is what an apple grows from. You put the seed in the ground and it grows into a tree. A tree then makes the apples.
We used apples cut in half to make apple prints for our apple book. The middle of an apple is shaped like a star.
What is your favorite type of apple?
We painted apple shapes that had our name appear on them. We enjoyed finding our name underneath! It was like magic!
Quote from one of the students:
"Look letters!"
Teacher-"Whose letters are those?"
"My letters. That says John."

We passed the apple seed around at circle time.

We had fun stamping apple prints for our classroom book.
